Obituary for Mike Minyoung Pyon (October 1972 – June 19, 2025)
Born in Seoul, Korea, Mike Minyoung Pyon dedicated his life to family, country, and community. He proudly served in the U.S. Army as a laboratory technician before continuing his career in the medical field at Patient First, where he was known for his skill, precision, and compassion.
He poured the same commitment into a second dream: building a craft distillery with his business partners an endeavor he had nurtured for four years and was just weeks away from launching full-time.
Mike’s calm demeanor, thoughtful nature, and gentle humor endeared him to all who knew him. Whether he was folding origami, supporting his coworkers, or cheering on his children, he lived with intention and care.
Mike is survived by his loving wife Andrea Lynch Pyon, and their four children: Dylan, Gavin, Jasmine, and Vittoria Pyon. His love extended beyond his immediate family to their cherished pets—Cookie, Ozzy, and Phoebe. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Young Pyon.
Details of a military remembrance service will be announced soon. In the meantime, the family asks for prayers as they celebrate the life of a man who meant so much to so many.
