It is with heavy hearts that the L’Anse Creuse North (LCN) High School community mourns the untimely passing of Brandy Ramirez, an 18-year-old graduate and proud DECA member, who tragically passed away on June 25, 2025. Her death has sent waves of grief throughout the school and local community, as students, teachers, and loved ones remember a young woman full of promise and potential.

A heartfelt message posted on the LCN School Store’s official account shared the devastating news, expressing the sorrow felt by staff and students alike. Mr. Lamberti, one of Brandy’s mentors, remarked on the overwhelming support shown by current students who have donated toward her memorial fund, a true reflection of the impact she made in their lives.

Brandy Ramirez was a bright, beautiful, and talented young woman whose presence brought joy and warmth to everyone she encountered. A recent graduate of LCN High School, Brandy was known for her intelligence, sense of humor, and strong leadership as part of the school’s DECA program. She was preparing to start college and had ambitions of doing great things in the world.

Despite her outward smile and vibrant personality, Brandy quietly battled inner struggles that she, like many others, faced alone. Her unexpected passing has left her parents, Felipe and Daisy Ramirez, and younger sister Evelyn, in unimaginable grief, as well as the entire Macomb Township community.

Her absence is deeply felt, but her memory will live on through the lives she touched with her kindness, laughter, and unwavering spirit.
